Simple Minds Book a call

How we quote a project

Every project we take on is quoted once, after the first call, and that number is what you are invoiced. It only changes if you ask for something that was not in the scope. This note explains what has to be settled before we can put a number on it.

What the first call covers

Thirty minutes, no slides. We ask what you sell, who buys it, and what this project has to achieve. If a website is not the thing that solves your problem, that is a useful answer too, and we will say so.

What goes into the scope

Why fixed rather than hourly

An hourly rate moves the risk of an unclear brief onto the client. Writing the scope down first takes longer up front, and means the number we quote is the number you plan around. Work starts immediately once you approve it.
